2011 October 18 - The Wireless Paradox: energy efficient radiation
18/10/2011
The Wireless Paradox: energy efficient radiation
Wireless communication has been widely adopted, despite the growing public concerns about the impact on human health of exposure to electromagnetic radiation. Engineers can contribute to the debate by designing innovative solutions that reduce the radiation to levels as-low-as-technologically-achievable (ALATA principle).
This work meeting is co-organised with the IMEC's Wireless Community.
Imec will be host for this workshop. You will get a snapshot of imec’s newest R&D activities. Imec is dedicated to foster technology innovation in Flanders. This will be illustrated by several examples of successful collaborations. An optional guided tour to the clean room facilities will be provided.
Sandwiches are provided during the closing & networking reception.
